Sing Sing Sing- clarinet solo

Hey everyone.. thought I'd share my solo from last summer, guesting with a big band..

It's a fun solo/duet with the drums.. my solo ascends minor keys in semitones, eventually reaching a High B, which I'm using a different fingering to "split" the note.. I hope you enjoy it!

Jazz Syllabus for Clarinet- New E-Book!

Hey everyone!

We've just released a new E-Book on our site..

I often have students overwhelmed about what scales they should play over chords, and have complied a 'catalogue" of scales for jazz harmony.

I feel it has a hands-on approach, and it covers a vast amount of practical jazz harmony. It breaks down which scales work over which chords; gives you tips for practicing them, and shows how to actually use them in chord progressions. From modes to melodic minor, dominant chords to altered sounds- it's all in here, made simple and practical.

I think if you're looking for something to help you understand your jazz scales on a practical level, this will be a big help!
