"Swing Mastery - Lesson 4" - Question Em6 arpeggio
Hello Adrian,
I'm currently working on lesson 4 of "Swing Mastery" and I got a little confused by what you said regarding the construction of the Em6 arpeggio, in particular the C#. You explained that it is a natural 6th, coming from the E natural minor scale.
First, how come you call it a natural 6th when it's actually sharp?
Then, in the E natural minor scale, the 6th is a C, not C#. To my understanding, C# can be found in the E melodic minor scale or E major scale, but not E natural minor, right? So could you please explain how the C# is coming from the E natural minor scale?
There is probably something obvious that I'm missing here. I would really appreciate if you could help me understand how this works.
Thank you!

Never stop asking questions! I'm very happy to clarify what I can.
(FYI.. I wanted to steer away from modes for the Swing lesson series, however they are introduced in the Funk lesson series)
