How to increase speed
Hello everybody. I have been with the clarinet for two years but my speed leaves much to be desired. I suppose that the only way to increase the speed is by practicing scales, arpeggios, and exercises like those in the major scale and chromatic books that you have left us and little by little to increase the speed with the metronome. Hi Kike, well, from my experience, there are no shortcuts unfortunately.. The best advice I can give for you is to practice your technical exercises with smooth movements and making sure you’re relaxed . Tension in your body and arms will make it harder to play fast and with fluidity. In time, it will come,.. I promise!
